Belize Festival of Hope 2017

Blog Post

Thank you for your prayers! Our mission trip to Belize was outstanding! I posted updates on my social media, but here’s a summary of the week:

DAY ONE: Our missions team was up early and ready to fly to BELIZE! A big thanks to our bus driver Johnny for driving us to the airport! We went in the love of God, the grace of Jesus, and the ministry of the Holy Spirit!

DAY TWO: let’s try this again…! Our plane in Lubbock had mechanical problems on Saturday so we had to turn around. They got a new plane for us but it ended up leaving Lubbock 10min before our connecting flight to Belize so all 32 of us had to get food & hotel vouchers in Dallas. Counted it all joy!

DAY THREE: we made it to Belize and met up with all the other groups! The pastors in Belize have prayed for 17 years for this event! They wanted a pic of us at their famous sign. Some teams went to a prison while others set up for the pastors dinner (where we serve their food and encourage them for their city). We also passed out flyers for the upcoming crusade and witnessed to people. The iguana wasn’t as interested in the gospel!

DAY FOUR: lots of give-aways, both natural & spiritual! The women filled hundreds of bags for the women’s conference while the men put up a massive tent and then served at the business leaders conference. Jesus said go into every facet of life and reach people! We are His hands and feet, and called to be servants before anything else.

DAY FIVE: The women’s conference was well attended. Hotter than a sauna but the Word went forth and truth was imparted! #seeyourselfinChrist #everynationempowered

DAY SIX & SEVEN: the Festival of Hope in downtown Belize City kicked off on Thursday with children’s ministry in the morning and crusade meetings at night. Dramas, preaching, praise, and many many people responding to God’s call! It was hard to capture it all but we know that whether we planted or watered, God is the One reaping the increase!

DAY EIGHT: wow!! The all-day, 10am-midnight, powerhouse of evangelists & artists that preached and proclaimed non-stop was amazing! Hot, but amazing! JESUS was lifted up! The crowds kept growing in number and IN FAITH! #neverthesame #belizefestivalofhope2017

THANK YOU FOR YOUR PRAYERS! And thank you to all my partners who help me go and supply resources to ministries like these. I will be sharing with you later about a great opportunity that opened to me while in Belize. God bless!
