Last week we talked about Rejection to Serenity. There seemed to be more to this topic because there are two sides of rejection — the one hurt and the one doing the rejecting.
In this week’s episode of Identity Advantage, Daphne and Angie look at rejection from the other side. Why do we reject others so quickly? Or a better question is, why do we guard ourselves from accepting others? There can be many reasons, but as Christians our responsibility is to reflect Christ, so the question remains.
P.T. Barnum (founder of Barnum & Bailey Circus) started his shows with people the world rejected as different. But his philosophy was this: “A human soul, ‘that God has created and Christ died for,’ is not to be trifled with. It may [be different]– but it is still an immortal spirit.”
