Are You Walking or Crawling?

Podcast Episode 007

The Bible says, “Don’t get weary in well doing…” meaning it’s very possible to get weary!

In this week’s episode, Daphne and Angie discuss how to handle seasons of weariness. We all have them, but how we get through these times is an indicator of what we’re pulling on for our strength. You’ll learn proven ways to cast your cares, how to recognize the traps of the enemy, and even a tip on what makes real chocolate milk! (You’ll have to tune in to find out what we mean by that!)

  • Great show again Daphne and Angie! I liked your example of picking up a child and caring for it. Another way I think about that verse, “Cast all your cares on Him for He cares for you” ( I Peter 5:7), is that it is implied that God the Father will actually bear, or carry, those cares FOR you. “Cast your burden upon the Lord, and He will sustain you, He will never suffer the righteous to be moved.” (Ps 55:22). The more we unload our cares on Him, the more room we have for Him to “load us with benefits.” (Psalm 68:19). Another great thought is to realize we must verbally encourage ourselves daily. David “encouraged himself in the Lord”! Thanks for the “shout out”. I enjoy your show, and I imagine a 30 minute length might be more accommodating for some of your listeners. Keep up the great work!

    • You’re awesome Stephen! Thanks for the feedback 🙂 and I love the scriptures you shared! When God carries our burdens (taking them from us) and loads us with His benefits, it’s weightless. When it’s His doing (with our releasing), the benefits are BIG but never burdensome. I love it! Thanks again for sticking with us!
