Life is full of obstacles and opportunities for people to press forward. But “enduring” through trials can also become exhausting.
In this episode of Identity Advantage, Daphne and Angie talk about the Race of Faith. Hebrews 12:1-2 says Jesus endured the cross (meaning it wasn’t necessarily joyful) yet He did it anyway “for the joy that was set before Him…” In the Old Testament, Naaman had to dip 7 times to get his miracle. And we all know the children of Israel missed their opportunity for a short trip to the Promised Land–and instead took 40 years of trial, most never reaching it.
Endurance describes patience and our refusal to surrender under trial. And the best part is, this ability is part of your salvation! In other words, you can do it! You can win your race!
