Are You on a Path You Didn’t Intend to Travel? Podcast Episode 068

Daphne Delay Podcast 4 Comments

Every person, at some point or another, has been lost or missed their turn. It can be frustrating and/or time consuming, but we eventually find our way and get back on the path. But what if we’re talking about life, and not a trip to Grandma’s house?

In this episode, Daphne and Angie talk about getting off-course, whether intentional or unintentional. God’s Word has a lot of instruction about finding your path, staying on course, and how to recognize the signs for either. One thing we know for sure is, God is merciful. He is always with us and ever ready to help show the way.

  • Angie spoke of taking the wrong exit, perhaps drawn that direction by addiction, lust or some other sinful behavior. Daphne pointed out that true repentance will return us to the path/road of peace, joy, love and mercy intended for us by our Father. Repentance is a change of mind and heart that leads to a change of direction. In the same sense that going the wrong way down a one way street requires a U-turn of 180 degrees, so does repentance require the U-turn that takes us from the wrong exit/road and returns us to the place of re-joining the right road. In His grace HE directs us safely and lovingly to the path Light and Righteousness!

    • I think I need to have you on as a guest sometime Stephen! I love how you summarize & add your spin on our episodes. Great analogy of the U-turn!
