“Hey, I am what I am…”
Have you ever heard someone say that? (or maybe you’ve said it?) It’s more of a common response than it should be when making excuses for personality or behavior. The Apostle Paul said the same thing, but he added some truth to his statement. “But by the grace of God I am what I am, and his grace to me was not without effect…” (1 Corinthians 15:10).
In this episode of Identity Advantage, Daphne and Angie talk about this very important understanding of grace. The Bible instructs us to not take the grace of God in vain, which means without effect or even in an improper manner. In most cases, taking grace for granted is not intentional but understanding how God intended grace to operate in our lives can be a huge help!
